Front Blank Side Sheet

One-sided Crawdaddy Magazine LP from 1976 (CR3-1976).
The other side is blank and has a chess pattern on it (see photo).
Radio station use only LP.

Features a 14:17 Waits track including an interview and an excerpt from Nighthawks At The Diner.
Note the spelling Tom Waites! (see photo)

Tom talks about the Beach Boys ("great to keep dust off your turntable"), the first LPs he bought (Harry the Hipster, James Brown, Lord Buckley), his 60s influences, Herb Cohen and his client Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention (opening for Zappa for 3 tours), talks about making chump change opening for the Eagles, small clubs, Martin Mull, Bonnie Raitt, Tim Buckley, diners of the world, followed by an excerpt from Nighthawks At The Diner, and Tom explains how he wrote it and other songs.
He ends the interview with the suggestion that he is "gettin' thirsty" and the interviewer gets the cue that talk is over.
